About Motel
Taking its name from the kitsch motels they stopped in along the way, Motel was inspired by a road trip along the West Coast of the USA, where the Motel designers started their collection of vintage finds.
They wanted to draw on the retro elements they loved, while applying a modern design approach to create colelctions that are both fresh and nostalgic.
Their designs feature vintage prints and a bold colour palette, and although the shape is classic, you will often find unexpected distinctive detailing. Inspiration can come from their travels - the flora of a Balinese landscape, or vintage kimono prints - just as from a favourite childhood sweet.
Skirts with twirling patterns of leaves and flowers, flirty tops in beautiful lightweight fabrics featuring lovebird embroidery, and a range of jeans to suit every shape.
Motel garments are quirky, versatile and effortlessly feminine, with just a hint of kitsch.
